<< Ph.D. dissertation >>
I took the preliminary review of my doctoral dissertation on Thursday, October 2, 2025, and was allowed to proceed to the final examination.
- My collaborator, Schahin Akbari (TU Darmstadt), presented at APS DFD 2025, held in Houston, USA, from November 23 to 25, 2025.
- Ryoko Ono (TUS), my collaborator, gave a presentation at the international conference J-K TFEC11, which was held at the Okinawa Convention Center in Okinawa Prefecture (Japan) from October 22 to 25, 2025.
- I conducted a short-term research stay at Technische Universität Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt), Germany, from May 23 to August 1, 2025.
Host professor: Prof. Martin Oberlack.
Research Themes
Study of super- and subcritical turbulent transition phenomena and heat transfer in wall-bounded shear flows, especially in combined shear flows with multiple orthogonal mainstreams.
- Localized turbulence patterns and instabilities in Taylor–Couette–Poiseuille flow.
- Turbulent transition process and heat transfer of natural convection in vertical channel flow.
- Turbulent transition process and heat transfer of mixed convection in vertical channel flow.
